Toto' s body was that of an almost disarticulated puppet, that's why he was nicknamed " rubber man". But what was really peculiar in him was his face: a sort of funny asymmetric mask, which he got by chance. As a schoolchild, during a boxing training session he was punched so hard straight across his face that his nose and his lower jaw remained tilted. His eyes were not aligned symmetrically either. He tried to make the most of the misfortunate event and learned to thrust his lower jaw sideways. With this "mask" he trodded on the stage and there he remained throughout his entire life.
