you think a mask is? |
in my opinion a mask is a way to get in touch with other people, to trigger a show and hand down emotions to the audienceSecondo me la maschera è un modo per comunicare, per fare spettacolo, per trasmettere emozioni al pubblico |

masks do you like best? why |
The mask I like best is Arlecchino, because people have fun with him, and because he's always in the limelight. La mia
maschera preferita è Arlecchino, perché sa divertire la gente e perché
sta sempre al centro dell’attenzione. |

masks do you like least ? why? |
I don't quite like Pantalone because he's too serious about life. A me
non piace molto Pantalone, perché è una persona seria. |
4. in your
opinion, what is a mask for? |
in my opinion a mask allows different kinds of playing. It helps actors to have the audience experience more intense feelings. Moreover, having a mask on makes it easier to say things one would otherwise be embarrassed to say.La maschera serve a recitare in modo diverso, a comunicare sensazioni più intense agli spettatori. Inoltre serve a far perdire cose che non si avrebbe il coraggio di dire. |

opinion does wearing a mask ease or hinder communication? |
in my opinion it makes it easier Secondo me la
facilita. |
6. to what
extent does a mask make communication easier between people? find
examples |
When I feel uneasy about telling a person what I feel about her/him, having a mask on helps me feel more comfortable and "have a go". Se io volessi
rivelare i miei sentimenti ad una persona ma non ho il coraggio, con una
maschera indosso ci riuscirei. |

extent does a mask make communication more difficult between people?
find examples |
in my opinion, wearing a mask does not make communication between people more difficult.. I can't say why.. Non so perché,
ma per me non la ostacola. |

the following masks: - Pantalone - Brighella -
Arlecchino - Balanzone - Colombina - Arpagone. Provide a verbal
description for each of them. |
Add 1 more character specific of your cultural background and describe him/her. Find similarities and differences with any one of the mentioned characters. Truffaldino
is both shrewd and stupid at the same time.. he's very much like
Arlechino. Truffaldino è furbo e sciocco allo
stesso tempo. Assomiglia molto ad Arlecchino.

Matteo is like Arlecchino: both are very lively and funny. Matteo is also both shrewd and foolish, he always cracks jokes at lessons. Matteo è come
Arlecchino, perché sono entrambi molto simpatici. Lui è molto furbo e
molto sciocco, perché fa battute e fa ridere tutta la classe. |
