Mistake The Voice of Earth Dream Revenge Gratitude
Mistake
Many years ago the Nature created Human. During
many thousands of years he developed and learnt to survive
under protection of Nature. She taught him to be independent
and he began to feel that he is a master of the world.
Human began to oppress Nature. He thought that he could
do everything he wanted. Year in, year out the Human
began to be impudent more and more. He forgot, whom he
owed his life. He cut down forests, polluted the most
beautiful rivers, killed animals and he did it all just
for himself: ingratitude and cruel. He treated Nature
very unjust, and she endured. But when people began to
hate and kill each other, The Nature began to punish
her disobedient children very cruel. And grief came to
the world: floods, earthquakes, volcanoes became very
common and a lot of people were injured. But people didn't
understand the hint and continued their activities. And
then She decided to destroy what She made, because the
mistakes need to be corrected! She gathered all animals
in safe place, because they weren't guilty, and started
the war against her children - people. And strong winds
blew and downpours fell on the Earth. The entire planet
was similar to the bottle of water, which somebody shook,
and people looked like small crumbs in it. Later on was
earthquake, which destroyed people's housing and all
factories. People felt terrible, they didn't understand
why it was happening to them. Destroying factories leads
to chemical pollution of the air. The oxygen in the air
got less and less. The trees died, flowers didn't flower,
and soil got dead and was covered by nasty, reek liquid.
Naturally, people couldn't exist in such conditions.
Bacteria and other hazardous beings appeared and different
epidemics started. People became to die like dinosaurs.
And they died very slowly and torment to pay off for
all their faults. Finally on the Earth didn't stay any
people, and Nature became to revive again, without repetition
of her own mistakes.
Please, people, don't destroy our nature and don't kill each other,
if you don't want to die awful death!!!
The Voice of Earth.
Stop
for a moment and listen! It's me, Earth, talking to you
now. I have something to tell you. I'm blue seas and
rivers, full-flowing rivers and beautiful lakes. I'm
jungles, vast stretching taiga and rainforests. I'm deserts
and savannas, white snows of Kilimanjaro and Alpine meadows;
coral reefs and icebergs. I'm all beasts, insects and
birds. I have enough space for everything to live and
exist. But also look at other appearance I've received
recently. I'm smoke of factories and millions of cars.
I'm nuclear and electro-stations, oil spots on the surface
of oceans, ozone holes. I'm disappeared species, dried
rivers, cut down forests. I'm tons of garbage that hasn't
been recycled. All living creatures are equally important
for me. But only you, people, bring damage and destruction,
pollute air. When the last tree will fall, the last animal
will die, when you'll have no fresh air at all and no
clean water to drink, what will you do then? It will
be too late. Just think of it and do something. Save
me for future generation. And one more thing: I want
you to help animals. They also have a right for existence.
Dream
Raman
got up very early today, at the dawn. But he couldn’t
see the first morning sun rays. He lived under the ground,
like many other people, in a large underground village.
Raman never left his cave. Nobody could. It was very
hot on the Earth, about +100 degrees Celsius. Life didn’t
existed, only hot scorching sand, stretching for miles,
miles, miles. No rivers, lakes, oceans. Burning desert.
Raman had his breakfast and went to school. There were
no buildings underground, only caves, smaller or larger,
united by pedestrian subways. After classes he helped
his mother to feed animals in the artificial farm and
played with his friends. In the evening he came to his
great Grandpa, who was very old.
- Tell me, please, how you lived when you were a boy, before nuclear
explosion.
- Oh, Raman! I tell you this practically every day! Aren’t you
tired of listening this?
- No, Grandpa! Please!
- Ok. I lived in a little village near a forest. In the day it
was very light, because the sun was shining. Not far from the village
there was a lake with fresh water. We swam there after school.
Very often we went to the forest. There were many plants and animals,
like that in your Biology book. Birds and animals were not afraid
of us, people, they didn’t escape. We enjoyed birds singing.
- How could birds sing? What did they sing?
- They sang beautiful songs, but in their own, birds language.
But we knew those were happy songs.
At this moment mother told Raman to go to bed. So he did. At night
Raman had a dream. He was alone in a very, very large forest. But
he wasn’t afraid. He was going along a little path and watched
beautiful flowers and plants. He enjoyed the view of funny monkeys
jumping and shouting something. Suddenly a bird sat on his shoulder
and began to sing to most beautiful song in the world. Then the
rain started pure warm rain. When Raman wakes up, his face was
wet. At first he thought he really lived in the past world. But
awakening more he realized it was only his tears. And dream finished.
Revenge
The
day started wonderfully for Sue. Today was her birthday,
she turned 15. She lived in a small house not far from
the ocean. Everything seemed wonderful: singing birds,
bright sun. She felt she was an adult already. She still
dreamt of becoming an animal protector, as she thought
animals are more hopeless than people.
- May I come in, Sue? – mother said.
- Yes.
- Look at my present. What a wonderful dress!
- But it’s very expensive!
- Father brought a lot of money yesterday, he had good fees.
- I don’t want a dress that was bought on this money. Dad kills
poor whales; illegally. When you bought this dress, did you think
about poor animals?
- I’m not interested in this. Every business is good if it gives
money.
- You can think only about money!
Sue ran upstairs. She felt very bad. She comforted down only at
school. Every body congratulated her and liked the dress. When
Sue was returning home, she heard new in the bus. People talked
about whales that cast ashore due to unknown reason. Sue rushed
to her mother’s bedroom.
- Did you hear the news about whales?
- I don’t understand what you are fussing about.
- Mum, they need our help!
The voice of father was heard downstairs.
- Did you hear? Whales go straight to our hands! Oh, that’s funny.
- How can you tell such things, - said Sue’s with tears in her
eyes.
- We’re rich now! – cried father.
Sue couldn’t stand it anymore. She ran to her room, crying. This
night, at 0:15 a.m. it was told on the radio about urgent evacuation,
as a huge hurricane tsunami was expected in 2 hours. But Sue’s
family slept and didn’t hear the warning. It so happened. They
went to sleep forever at this terrible night. The wave destroyed
the whole town. Such a disaster – what is it? Natural process or
revenge of nature? Nobody knows. But at this terrible night, at
3 a.m. the whole town was destroyed.
Gratitude
A
n early morning. A small house in a pine
forest. Day is dawning.
- Good morning, Mummy! – I said entering the veranda.
- Yes, the morning is really wonferful, - Mother agreed.- The weather
will be good today.
- Then ihave a suggestion to go for a walk.
Hour later we left home and directed to the glade. This morning
was the best in my life. The sun was rising from the horizon
and every minute it was shining brighter and brighter. Nature
was waking
up: trees, birds, animals. soon our atention was attracted
by one jackdaw. She was fussing and flying around the trees.
We
couldn’t
take our eyes from her.
- What
could trouble her? – I wondered.
- She’s got nestlings. Look here’s the nest.
- But why isn’t she happy? – I was surprised.
We tried to understand this strange thing.
- Oh, can you hear?
- What? Where?
- It’s nestling in the bush let’s look.
We saw a little nestling in the hole. He fell from the nest.
That’s
why a bird was so worried. I took a nestling from the hole
and put it on the ground. Jackdaw took a nestling and flew
away.
But then a strange thing happened. Jackdaw returned with a
flower and
put it near us.
- Fantastic!
- It’s her gratitude! How interesting.
We went further. We spent the whole day in the forest, watched
animal and bird life. How pleasant it was to feel a part of nature!
People! We are part of nature. If everyone realizes it, we will
be happy, we will discover many unknown things. Nature will present
us beauty, youth, happiness!
